Canva is a free tool for realistic planning that may be used to create business cards, Instagram posts, professionally planned layouts, welcome messages, zoom foundations, and other things. More than 50,000 layouts are available in Canva, which doesn’t require much knowledge of photo editing.

Well, I am, in fact. And with the launch of Canva 2.0 and Canva Pro, some insane capabilities emerged that enable my content production and design workflow — features that make it a complete no-brainer to sever all previous links with challenging design tools.

Having said that, you can find my must-have Canva tips, tactics, and design hacks for content creation workflow below so you can focus on what really counts for your online business.

The following Canva hints are provided in this article:

Utilize your preferred colors to save time.

It is advisable to use their brand kit if you frequently use a particular hue. All you have to do is click on “add another palette” from the design menu, select it from the homepage, or select “color” if you want to change the text’s color. The new color palette will then be visible.

Using Gradient in the Background

Go to elements and look for the gradient there to add one to the background of any image. You should search for the square. That must be chosen, then used in your design.

You must drag it from this position’s corner; to change the colors, look to the top left and select a new color. Change the color to yellow and the secondary hue to observe how the gradient effect was achieved.

You need to be aware of this simple keyboard shortcut

I actually have a ton of keyboard shortcuts at my disposal, but I’ll save the lengthy list for a different post and instead offer you the ones I use the most frequently:

Add a line to your document: Click the “L” key

Add a rectangle to your document: Click the “R” key

Transform text to Uppercase: Shift + cmd/ctrl + “K” key

Bold text: cmd/ctrl + “B” key

Duplicate elements: cmd/ctrl + “D” key

Group Elements: cmd/ctrl + “G” key

Ungroup Elements: shift + cmd/ctrl + “G” key

Select all items on layer: cmd/ctrl + “A” key

Zoom in: cmd/ctrl + “+” ke

Include as many layers as possible using

When working with many layers, people encounter many difficulties. Because they are so close together, they occasionally have trouble choosing just one layer. Holding down the command key now will allow you to click on your mouse button and then choose the layer behind it while holding down the ctrl key for Windows users and the command key for Mac users.

The layer behind that will be selected if you click once more. Now the layer is set, as you can see, you can change whatever you want; it works similarly to altering colors.

Magic resize is simple to use

you know just how much time is lost when you have to recreate designs to fit various platforms. With the Magic Resize tool in Canva Pro, that issue is resolved for us! The tool, you can bulk-resize your graphics to fit a variety of pre-defined formats (see the example below for a visual guide!).

Upload images so faster that you need

To post an image or video, all you need to do is open your folder rather than adding your files to your uploads and hitting upload.

It is preferable that I have mine here and can use it intuitively. This is a quick and simple way to do things that will save a ton of time.

Moving elements that contain on board

This basic Canva tool, which allows you to move specific elements, will come in handy for any design you create. To adjust the details of your design, use the keyboard arrows. Although left and right are options, I prefer to use up and down.

It will only travel by one pixel at a time using this method. The shift key on your keyboard cannot be held down while moving in this manner, moving 10 pixels at a time.

Remove background from image

If you’ve ever attempted to use Word, PowerPoint, Photoshop, or another program to figure out how to eliminate the background from a picture.

Use Canva’s “Background Remover” tool to remove the background from your image just one click.

Shadow effect

The next remark or tip I have for you is to apply a Shadow effect. You must first choose the text in this choice, then return to the impact and choose the shadow option. This allows for finer modifications, like changing the shadow’s hue.

Additionally, you can modify the transparency and direction of the shadow with this option.

Using Free many resources image Inside Canva

You should be aware that Canva’s library of free stock images is not as remarkable as that of Pixelied or other providers.

You can access a larger selection of stock photos and a better photo library thanks to Canva’s integration of the Pexels and other resources libraries inside its editor!

Make your products come to life by using Smart Mockups!

Canva combines with Smart Mockups to let your work come to life if you enjoy designing printed goods, clothing, accessories, technologies, clothing lines, novels, or other things along those lines.

Practice below step:

Step 1: Design your image and click on the three dots in the right corner.

Step 2: Under the Share tab, you’ll find the Smart Mockups option.

Step 3: Sign Up on Smart Mockups with your email id.

Canva also has 24 different page animation and 16 photo animation in the in the free version that you can use to make your designs even more attractive!
